Laura Dasnoit is the author of The Adventures of Captain Xoey and the Mystery of the Djinn. It’s a tale about friendship and fate, conquering fears, and being who you are – no matter what. In the book, there are pirates, airships, red-furry gnomes, and wondrous inventions, like jumper boots. 

She grew up in Huntsville, Alabama and considers herself to have been the weird, awkward kid with curly hair - perfect for hiding her hearing aids.

Today, she rocks hearing aids, eats dessert for dinner, and is an active member of a gaming community. She has worked on Scion 2ed, contributing her knowledge of the Norse Gods to paper.

Laura currently lives in Clayton, NC with her four-legged son, named Clyde Barker.
